I am a classically trained composer, audio editor, sound designer, audio engineer, and musician. I have a masters degree in contemporary music from SUNY Stony Brook (2010), where I studied composition and performance. I have designed live sound for chamber ensembles including the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, and Mantra Percussion, including applications utilizing live electronics. My compositions have been featured in music license libraries such as Premium Beats. I have worked with clients in diverse fields, from advertising, to podcasting, recording and producing audio, and creating musical content.
As a musician (percussionist), I am on the faculty at the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, and perform regularly with Mantra Percussion, Empyrean Ensemble, Opera Parallèle, and the Eco Ensemble. I have premiered new works by George Crumb, John Luther Adams, and Michael Gordon. My recordings have been remixed by Squarepusher, Tim Hecker, and Oneohtrix Point Never. I have appeared at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lincoln Center, Apple Store, Bang on a Can Marathon, Cal Performances, Vancouver New Music, Drogheda Festival of Ireland, Festival Internacional de Inverno de Campos do Jordão of Brazil, and on NPR.
